Seth Weissman, M.D.

Dr. Weissman has over 30 years of experience practicing Internal Medicine in our community, initially as a Clinician/Educator at the Stanford Medical Group, then as a full-time clinician at the Menlo Medical Clinic, before joining Interactive Wellness in 2014. He has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1990.
 
Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Weissman earned a BS in Chemistry at Emory University and an MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then completed his training with an Internal Medicine residency followed by a year as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Arizona, before arriving at Stanford.
 
Dr. Weissman has long established relationships with subspecialists in virtually all medical disciplines both at Stanford and in the community. He is experienced in managing patients with complex medical problems and partners with his patients in decision making, tailoring the most recent medical knowledge to fit each patientʼs individual needs.

Bonnie Rosenberg, M.D.

Dr. Bonnie Rosenberg brings to our practice significant experience in primary care and general internal medicine. Dr. Rosenberg is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine in the Bay Area for over 25 years. She is a graduate of the prestigious UCSF residency program in primary care internal medicine.

She received her M.D. from the UCLA School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. Dr. Rosenberg received her Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Stanford University, and is an alumna of Castilleja School in Palo Alto.

Following her residency, Dr. Rosenberg was a clinical faculty member at UCSF, teaching residents in the primary care program and caring for patients in a clinical practice group on campus. In 2002, Dr. Rosenberg moved to Palo Alto and established her own private practice where she has devoted her time exclusively to caring for patients in a specialized private setting. We are delighted that Dr. Rosenberg has joined Interactive Wellness.

Dr. Rosenberg lives in Palo Alto with her husband. She has two grown children. She is the former President of the Silicon Valley chapter of American Medical Women’s Association, and is an active member of the El Camino Hospital and Stanford Unviersity Medical communities.

N. Lance Downing, M.D.

Dr. Lance Downing is a board-certified internist with nearly a decade of clinical experience and a current faculty appointment at Stanford Medicine, where he completed both his residency and fellowship training. His approach to care combines deep clinical expertise with a commitment to personalized, preventive, and compassionate medicine.

Dr. Downing is passionate about helping individuals thrive at every stage of life. He holds additional board certification in Clinical Informatics, with a focus on using technology to enhance the quality, coordination, and accessibility of patient care.

Dr. Downing’s practice emphasizes prevention and optimization across key areas of health, including cardiovascular disease, cancer risk reduction, neurodegenerative conditions, and musculoskeletal strength and mobility. He places particular importance on the foundations of wellness—nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and mental health—and works closely with each patient to create a tailored strategy that aligns with their values, goals, and lifestyle.

He lives in Portola Valley with his wife, a gynecologist, and their three children. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors—gardening, hiking, and mountain biking throughout the Peninsula.

Benny Gavi, M.D.

Dr. Gavi entered clinical practice 12 years ago at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he completed medical school and his internal medicine residency. He then joined Stanford Medical School and Stanford Hospital as a faculty physician. Dr. Gavi has had hospital leadership roles and has won numerous teaching awards both at Harvard and Stanford. He has served as a consultant to private companies and the California Board of Medicine. While at medical school, Dr. Gavi also attended Harvard Divinity School and obtained a degree in theology. Subsequently, he has led institutional programs in medical ethics and seminars for physicians that promote humanistic care.

Dr. Gavi is an advocate for wellness and disease prevention including spiritual, psychological, and physical wellbeing. He is interested in an individualized approach to health care and the importance of lifestyle to a long and active life.

Dr. Gavi lives in Menlo Park with his wife, Dr. Daryl Oakes, Stanford faculty cardiac anesthesiologist, and their three sons, Ethan, Gregory, and Joshua. His interests outside of medicine include literature and enjoying the outdoors with his family.

Laura Benak is the Business Manager for Interactive Wellness, bringing over 15 years of experience supporting our dedicated team and the growth of our practice. She focuses on the business-related operations that help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, she is a proud mom to two grown children and deeply values time spent with family. You can find Laura hiking, traveling with friends, catching live music, and seeing great theatre performances.
